Conferences are an important part of the Delta Epsilon Chi year. They provide members with the opportunity to network with their peers as well as business leaders. They also give students a chance to put their career skills to the test through our competitive events program.

All conferences stress the four main points of the Delta Epsilon Chi philosophy:

  • Leadership Development
  • Career Exploration
  • Community Involvement
  • Professional and Personal Growth

  • International Career Development Conference

The International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the highlight of the Delta Epsilon Chi year. Nearly 2,000 students, advisors, alumni and business professionals gather for several days of Delta Epsilon Chi excitement. Most participants at ICDC compete in Delta Epsilon Chi's Competitive Events Program. And all attendees take part in one of our Professional Development Academies. The top competitors in each event are recognized for their outstanding achievements. In addition to the competitive events many students participate in activities such as the National and Culinary Management Institutes, the Entrepreneurship Academy, National Officer Elections, Career Fair, and business and industry seminars.

    Collegiate Leadership Academy

Delta Epsilon Chi members, members of other college organizations or any college student looking to enhance their leadership skills are invited to attend the Collegiate Leadership Academy (CLA). Sponsored by Delta Epsilon Chi and Finish Line, the CLAs are held each year in New York City.

    State Fall Leadership Conferences

Many State/Provincial Associations host a leadership development conference in the fall.

    State Career Development Conferences

State/Provincial Associations host a career development conference in the Spring. At these conferences Delta Epsilon Chi members compete to earn the right to attend the International Career Development Conference.
